Hi. I'm the founder of Adholes.com. A lot of people ask me "why do you do what you do for Adholes and advertising?" Well, it's not for the money, that's for sure. And so far, I have not found that there are throngs of ad groupies throwing themselves at me. And I'm really not looking to be famous. I'm more of a behind-the-scenes kind of guy than the next Seth Godin.

But I am very entrepreneurial. I always have been. I even tried to start my own pooper-scooper business in the 6th grade. And being an entrepreneur has led me to attempt many different ventures.

When you have a venture that starts to take off, it's almost like giving birth to a child. All of a sudden you have this entity with a life of its own. In fact, like your child, your entity will go off and do things you don't want it too. And you'll always have to be there, nurturing and guiding it along the way. Adholes could have easily been any of my other ventures that didn't take off. But this one did, and I'm seeing it through each step of the way.

Where are we headed? I love two things about this business: meeting incredibly smart and talented people with great ideas, and helping great ideas get even better. So our two focuses are providing an informational resource that's written by you the Adhole, and giving everyone a forum to connect.

In order to make that even more solid this year, we're going to start having events, and have a couple of new ventures up our sleeves that will surprise a lot of people.

Another question people ask me a lot is, how do you guys make money? That's a realy good question too. Making money has only been a focus as long as our expenses of running the site have been. Our software is complex and expensive to run. So we do support the site through paid advertising, and this year, by having sponsorship opportunities for our events.

Finally, a lot of people want to know if Adholes is my day job. Sadly, no it's not. Neither myself, or my partner, Jeffrey Riman have made a penny yet doing this. My full time job is at Snap Marketing in New York, where I'm the Director of Creative Media. There I use just about all of the skills I've collected throughout my career and do everything from concepting our experiential marketing campaigns, to design, to sending press releases about the company. I work with brilliant, entrepreneurial people and couldn't be happier. Except for the fact that it means I have to spend a lot less time on Adholes.

Finally, people ask for a lot of things via PMs - from "will you critique my portfolio" (of course, but give me a few days to get back to you" to "please delete my account you moron." (please go away. You can delete your account by taking your name out of your account and removing the info. Like your IQ wuz normal. :)

Other than that, feel free to say hello. I'm always looking to meet new people. Just give me a little while to get back to you. I can never have too much email, but sometimes it takes a while to catch up.
